    Just Be.

    Just Be.

Karma happens to all of us! How do we break these patterns that are instilled in us? As a human being, how are we supposed to grow without having any kind of trial or tribulation? We are all destined to see both good and bad, no matter how hard we try to live out a life filled with peace and love.

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to think clearly in every situation without reacting?  We must try day in and day out to be of service to the world around us and love others, as well as ourselves. When the going gets tough, breathe, and remember that everything is temporary. As humans, we will never be able to control the world around us. What we can do is find a way we can control what is in our power to control. It is important to live every day with an open heart and with an understanding of ourselves, as well as the world around us. We can just be!

It’s been about six months since I’ve made it a focus to look at everything in life as an event instead of categorizing things into it being “a good event” or  “a bad event”. I am getting closer to everything just being. Reprogramming your thought process is hard and takes time, but wouldn’t it be wonderful for life to just be?!

The more we program ourselves to be present and think clearly with what is happening in our world, the more we can direct ourselves in the right way. When we react, we sometimes feel bad about our actions. Often times, we don’t treat people the way they should be treated or we don’t think rationally about the decision before reacting. These actions, in time, hurt us and create negative patterns in our bodies. This in turn, can create fear later on and make us into people other than ourselves.

Think. Breathe. Be present. Make every moment just a moment. See how powerful a label is on an event? That negative event can totally be made into a learning experience, then slowly into a positive one.

About Me

About Me

Ashlee Brooke

Hello Everyone, I'm Ashlee!
I started this blog to help others find their footing along the Spiritual Path because I felt lost and confused on my own.
I am an Ashtanga Student, Student of Ayurveda, Reiki Master, and Spiritual/Life Coach.
My passion is Personal Development. My goal is to help you leave with something that supports you along your path towards enlightenment.
I share the knowledge that I have, and my life experiences, in hopes that it gives you some tools to help you along your own journey in this world.
My intuition is my guide, so I do encourage you to listen to the small voice inside of you and let that be your guide as well. I do not talk about specific religions, because it is your journey to figure out what resonates with you the most. However, I do talk about my personal experiences and am a strong believer of trusting the process.
Salt Lake City, Utah is currently my home and I love it so very much. I grew up in Las Vegas, but when my life shifted, so did my home.
I live in SLC with my little pup, Bella. She is my world.
I enjoy a good Vegan restaurant, long conversations about life in coffee shops, and days filled with sunshine.
Thank you for following me on my journey and experiencing the ups and downs with me! <3
Om Shantih.
