Standing For What You Believe In

Standing For What You Believe In

Someone once told me that there is no middle ground when choosing right or wrong. That being said, if you choose to not stand for what you know is right, are you consciously choosing to stand for what you know is wrong?

We all have an understanding of where we want to go in life and who we want to become. This past year, I feel as if everyone is being tested on their path to who they want to be. I hear questions where people are questioning their religious beliefs, or even themselves and what they have always loved. We’re shifting. We, as humans, always shift.

If we did not make changes or change as individuals, we would lay stagnant and without growth. How would anyone be an inspiration for others to follow or push others do better? They simply wouldn’t. We are ever evolving.

When the time comes to shift, we must make it happen. If the heart tells you that is the road you need to take, take it. There is always a plan, and we don’t always see the big picture. Even though it is hard, do it. Take the chance and make the change.

Faith has always been a driving force for me. I was always the person who stood behind what her gut feeling was telling her and listening to the still small voice that never spoke aloud. If you know its right, have faith. Believe. If you don’t believe in yourself, then believe in something more than yourself and use that as a driving force to fuel you along the way.

When life gets hard, it’s either pushing you into something new through a breakdown to breakthrough moment, or it’s simply molding you to become stronger in a given area.  No matter the reasoning, always listen to how you feel. Honor who you are and what you know is right. You will always know what is right in the end.

About Me

About Me

Ashlee Brooke

Hello Everyone, I'm Ashlee!
I started this blog to help others find their footing along the Spiritual Path because I felt lost and confused on my own.
I am an Ashtanga Student, Student of Ayurveda, Reiki Master, and Spiritual/Life Coach.
My passion is Personal Development. My goal is to help you leave with something that supports you along your path towards enlightenment.
I share the knowledge that I have, and my life experiences, in hopes that it gives you some tools to help you along your own journey in this world.
My intuition is my guide, so I do encourage you to listen to the small voice inside of you and let that be your guide as well. I do not talk about specific religions, because it is your journey to figure out what resonates with you the most. However, I do talk about my personal experiences and am a strong believer of trusting the process.
Salt Lake City, Utah is currently my home and I love it so very much. I grew up in Las Vegas, but when my life shifted, so did my home.
I live in SLC with my little pup, Bella. She is my world.
I enjoy a good Vegan restaurant, long conversations about life in coffee shops, and days filled with sunshine.
Thank you for following me on my journey and experiencing the ups and downs with me! <3
Om Shantih.
